The Atco was sold for £500 and donated to Cancer Research UK. Thanks to everyone who has followed my blog and their helpful input. This restoration was both enjoyable and challenging - onwards and upwards to the next project whatever that may be but certainly not another lawnmower ! Over and out. Roy.

ReplyDeleteI have just stubbled across your blog which I will read in full when I find time as Im keen to assess what Im letting myself in for when starting my own restoration.
It would have been nice had I picked up your ebay listing back in the Summer as you would definitely had another interested buyer and I live in Epsom!...must be something in the grass round here?
I have three machines (none in the original condition of yours) which are asking me questions as to 'when?' every time I go in the shed so its probably time to start. If you have any advice (yeah I know "dont start") perhaps we could meet up? Regards Paul 0773 4050888
